The main thing I learned this week is:
It’s one thing to clearly receive messages and guidance from within
And it’s another to take action
By not taking guided action, I experienced internal resistance, which manifested as an outside struggle. My non-action moved me further away from my true state of peace, calmness and empowerment.
After spending a week in Arizona meditating, hiking, exercising and staying connected to my soul, my internal messages were clear. I had a direction on what to focus my time and energy on and I was excited to take action. I felt clear, connected and was able to easy channel the words and answers I sought to move forward with purpose and authenticity.
Then I flew to the Mayan Riviera in Mexico and faced a block to implement action. I made travel a few months prior which were now preventing me from having the time to apply the action I felt I strongly had to do. Although I was excited to see my good friend and go on an adventure together, my body and intuition wanted rest, a daily routine and time to take action.
Wanting to respect the person I planned to travel with and honor some sense of me that wanted to keep my plans, I decided to ditch the road trip idea and stay in Tulum and go on day trips from there. Rather than rest, routine and taking action, I chose movement, activity and adventure. The internal struggle grew strong and so did my stress and guilt of not going what I felt I had to. I felt bad for not being able to relax on holiday and or have as much fun as I planned to. This internal struggle didn’t go away, so I did what I could to keep it from growing by spending a part of the day doing work.
At the end of the week I decided to enjoy the last few days and knew I would take action after that. I was able to relax and have more fun and was looking forward to starting my routine and writing after that. While on an added three-day trip with another friend which I was intuitively led to do, the universe and my soul decided to state the importance and urgency of my tasks by blatantly reminding me of the same messages. Reminders that came through other people and animals.
The morning before I was due to check in to my beach hotel and finally take action, my intuitive friend Chad messaged me with some clear and loud messages from my soul. The words felt like they were whipping me back into action and reminding me it’s time to take action and stop wasting time. I saw a grasshopper on top the car which appeared as an animal totem.
It’s message was to remind me to jump and take action. Follow my soul’s calling and take big steps to get there. These steps were already clear and waiting to manifest into physical form. To be created and go beyond an idea, words or images. To be created with confidence, trust, surrender and passion. To be carried out through an open-heart, and connected soul.
The lesson learned was if you don’t follow your divine intuition or guidance straight away you will feel the resistance of not being completely on your path. This resistance is our internal guidance system making sure we stay on track and for that I am grateful.
